Overview

SpendSignal connects to your Shopify store to ingest daily aggregated commerce data. We strictly do not store individual order details or customer PII. Our system calculates Net Revenue (Gross - Discounts - Refunds) to power your incrementality models.

Prerequisites

Shopify Store Admin Access.
Ability to create Custom Apps (Apps and Sales Channels settings).

Setup Guide (Custom App)

Create Custom App

In Shopify Admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels > Develop apps. Click "Create an app" and name it SpendSignal-Ingest.

Configure Scopes

Click "Configure Admin API scopes". Search for and check:

read_orders (Required for revenue & refund calculation)

Note: We do not require read_customers.

Install & Get Token

Click "Install app". Reveal the Admin API Access Token (starts with shpat_).

Connect in Dashboard

Go to Integrations and select Shopify. Enter your Shop Domain (e.g. my-store.myshopify.com) and the Access Token.
